First weird parade in 3 years of life. I am sure there are more to come.

Today we joined the Atlanta Zoo (thank you Sara for the membership). We walked over to the zoo (because it is across the street from our new house) and the first animals we saw were the Flamingos. Cole immediately said “we saw flamingos at the San Diego Zoo” – Liam was a bit camera shy (or just being a stubborn 3 year old) so there are many photos of Liams backside!! A Panda was turning 3 today – so we sang  happy birthday to her. She was being stubborn and not waking up – but her Mom was eating Bamboo right in front of me – so that was neat. The baby Poe was asleep (her Mommy is still breastfeeding her – otherwise she would be in her own cage too). There were lots of animals to see and then we walked home for lunch.

Today I competed in my first bike race. I rode my Haro balance bike and competed with the 3-4 year olds. I came in right behind my brother. We could have won had we not been distracted my all the stuff at the finish line. This big kid beat us – only because he threw tacks in the street.

Even though my event was short and I dominated the field. That was not enough for me. I raced with the 9-10 year olds who raced the entire 1K criterium circle. My dad ran next to me and we took a break on the grass half way through – but I was the only person under 9 to do the WHOLE thing. Boy was I tired. My mom gave me a big hug and a popcicle. It was 95 degrees and sticky hot.

I flew to Atlanta with Grandma and Cole. We flew on my 3rd birthday. Everyone on the plane was nice to me. I was very good for Grandma -  I slept for 3 hours on the flight and my brother slept too.  When we got to Atlanta – I got to see Cooper and my parents. I missed Cooper a lot. I got to see my new hpuse which is full of boxes. Then we went out to dinner and dessert.  I got a special birthday dessert. I had a cupcake with pink lemonade frosting (my favorite flavor) and everyone sang happy birthday to me (even though I do not like that song).
